Welcoming

Ministry’s Vision:
As it is PPC’s vision to invite others to be a part of the body of Christ, it is our vision to make each and every person feel welcomed and loved as they enter through the doors of our Church.

About the Team:
We are in charge of greeting, handing out the Sunday bulletin, taking attendance, sending out e-mails to new comers, collecting offering as well as functioning as the “communications” hub of PPC. If there’s any questions you have about PPC, we’re here to answer them as best we can.

More Volunteers Needed:
We need more volunteers!!! God has been blessing PPC with more and more members which are why we need more volunteers! If you are friendly, can fold paper, don’t mind coming to church 30 minutes before service, and have a heart for PPC, you’re exactly what this committee needs!

What qualities and specific skills do you need?:
We’re looking for anyone who loves God and want to serve the people of PPC.

Why join this ministry?:
It’s great to be the first to meet someone new and help them feel welcomed. And every Sunday mornings you’re having lots of fun working along side of some great people!

Testimonial by Margo Kim
“The thing I value most about being a part of Welcoming is that I get to see everyone who comes to church, especially the people who come late and leave before fellowship time. By greeting these people by name and not allowing them to be anonymous (even though they may want to be), I get to demonstrate the same pursuing love that God has for us. It’s also awesome to be able to be one of the first people to greet newcomers. It’s such a testament of God’s faithfulness to look at people who are now serving and to be able to see how much they’ve grown from their first, tentative Sunday.”
